The ISEG will manage this project – an institute belonging to the University of Lisbon- dedicated to the economy and sociology of organisations, among other areas of expertise.
Two researchers, including Marta Nieto Romero and Marta Varanda, will be involved in WONDER commonlands. Marta Nieto Romero, PhD in Rural Sociology, is a researcher and guest lecturer at ISEG. She has made scientific contributions about common lands and community-based natural resource management and her research involves creative participatory methods to enhance people’s capacity to transform their territories. Marta Varanda is a sociologist and associate professor at ISEG with experience in action research, sociology of organizations, collective action and co-management of natural resources and water management.
