Public presentation of the Wonder Commonlands project: Women Organization and Networking of Development of Rural Areas Commonland
On November 23th, the public presentation of Wonder Commonlands: Women Organization and Networking of Development of Rural Areas Commonland, dedicated to the exchange of experiences and knowledge around the governance of communal areas with a gender perspective, will take place.
The project, with Erasmus + funding, is coordinated by the Entretantos Foundation and seven other organizations participate with a mixed partnership between research entities, non-governmental organizations linked to social participation, territorial development and legal entities.: STEP (Bulgaria), Norsk seterkultur (Norway), ELGO-DIMITRA (Greece), Slow Food Abruzzo and the Department of Political Science of the University of Teramo (Italy), BABALex (France) and the ISEG of the University of Lisbon (Portugal).
The project will fundamentally consist of the development of face-to-face spaces for the exchange of experiences on communal communities, gender and governance and virtual thematic spaces that more specifically analyze some topics linked to the topic such as the use of natural resources, the economy, traditional knowledge or the field legal. Always from an ecofeminist perspective.
Thus, the first event, organized by Entretanto and hosted by the Comunidade de Montes de Couso (Gondomar, Pontevedra, Galiza) will be a two-day seminar where the voices of the participating countries can be heard about their current context and their needs as well as experiences of the Galician and Spanish territory.
